Using industry I/O devices, Hammers simulates hardware interfaces/signals for attitude control sensors and actuators with flight software for development and test. Integrated with our spacecraft dynamic simulator, VIRTUALSAT®, the lab features injection of errors and anomalies into the hardware, affecting spacecraft dynamics and demonstrates how the flight software responds and performs in flight.

Hammers provides flight software using 1553 test hardware to ensure working 1553 bus-schedules and data throughput to ensure requirements and performance are met before integration at the spacecraft and instrument.

Using current SpaceWire hardware technology, Hammers provides flight software development and interface ground software, GALAXY®, for spacecraft and instrument support.
