Galaxy "Andromeda" Release 2511

We are pleased to announce the release of Galaxy “Andromeda” 2504 which includes the following features along with various bug fixes:

  • Added the ability to specify the length in bytes of the initialization vector (IV) to use for encryption and decryption in the CCSDSDataLinkSecurityComponet and CCSDSStandardCommandConfigurationComponent. The length in bytes is configured by the length.sn_aes mnemonic in the security association definition(s) in the component.

    Added the SpacePacketSecurityComponent to support for a new custom encryption and decryption format.

    Added a --nonstandard_option [0|1] command-line argument (and the control.mib_nonstandard_option in the CFDPEntity record prototype) to the CFDP application to enable a non-standard mode.
